Wufeng Chicheng Biotech Co., Ltd. was founded in November 2004. Its main business is the R&D, production and sales of hydrolyzed tannin products. Its products are exported to many countries and regions around the world.

The company is a "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative" Little Giant enterprise, a National High-Tech Enterprise, a National Key Leading Forestry Industrialization Enterprise, a Hubei Manufacturing Single Champion, and a Hubei Key Leading Agricultural Industrialization Enterprise.

Leveraging platforms including the "National Engineering Technology Research Center for Efficient Cultivation and Deep Processing of Chinese Gallnuts," the "National Innovation Center for the Chinese Gallnut Industry," and an "Academician Expert Workstation," the company builds a full-industry-chain innovation system for Chinese gallnuts and conducts in-depth basic research and new product development across the upstream and downstream value chain. It has carried out industry–university–research cooperation with multiple domestic research institutes and undertaken national, provincial, municipal and county-level projects.

By building a comprehensive headquarters industrial park, it aims for higher-quality, more efficient, more sustainable and safer development.
